The Pacific Islanders Rugby (the PIs) team embarked on it’s second tour of the Northern hemisphere in November 2008, with the Sports Hydrant as their naming rights sponsor. They played three Tests, against England, France and Italy, and in the final match of the tour vs Italy the PIs claimed their first ever Test victory. The PIs play entertaining, spontaneous rugby and they're the best possible advert for the Pacific Islands, but, does anybody care?

Over 100,000 people watched the Pacific Islanders live at the three grounds and millions more on television, proving that many people care. As the sponsor of the Pacific Islanders Rugby team we are going to promote all the issues that were talked about so enthusiastically while on tour to the people who may be able to help the rugby team and the islands. We hope that as a consequence our voice will be joined by your voices and that together we can continue to make a difference to the Pacific Islanders.
